Also ~8 min by bus from Hachi-Yotsume Station (八乙女駅). From JR Sendai Station, ~40 min by Miyagi Kotsu bus (platform 6).

No interpreter is provided by the center: applicants who cannot converse in Japanese must bring their own interpreter (日本語による会話ができない方は、通訳を同行してください). The knowledge test is offered in 20 languages, which the official gaimen page enumerates (English, Spanish, Persian, Korean, Chinese, Portuguese, Russian, Thai, Tagalog, Vietnamese, Nepali, Indonesian, Khmer, Mongolian, Burmese, Sinhala, Hindi, Urdu, Arabic, Ukrainian).

As of October 1, 2025, foreign nationals with a short-term-stay (短期滞在) status of residence cannot apply for foreign license conversion (令和７年１０月１日以降、外国籍で短期滞在者の方は、外国免許切替え申請手続きを行うことができません). Reservation/document review is handled at 1F Room 16 (試験係事務室).
